Operational finance leadership and site‑level ownership in a high‑growth manufacturing environment

(Adjacent to CPG, FMCG, food, beverage, nutrition, pharma)

If you’re a finance leader who thrives in fast‑paced manufacturing environments and wants a role where you can truly influence how the business runs—strengthening systems, processes, and teams as the operation scales—we’d welcome a confidential conversation.
This role has primary ownership of site‑level financial performance and operational decision support, with responsibility for country‑level financial planning, analysis, and performance reporting. You’ll lead and develop a lean team including the site controller and other finance and accounting professionals.

You’ve built your finance career inside fast‑moving manufacturing environments—where output, efficiency, and discipline matter because real product is moving every hour. You know how to move beyond reporting and become a true business partner, bringing visibility, accountability, and structure to operations that are scaling quickly. Now you’re ready for a role where your work directly shapes performance on the floor and at the leadership table.

We are conducting a confidential retained search for a Finance Director to lead finance and accounting for a high‑growth manufacturing operation in Oregon. The company operates in a high‑speed, high‑volume environment typical of CPG, FMCG, food, beverage, nutrition, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated manufacturing businesses
.

The organization is part of an established, global platform with meaningful growth and change ahead—well suited for a leader who enjoys building through scale. Product demand is strong, capacity continues to increase, and the focus is now on execution, profitability, and operating rigor.

This role partners closely with director and executive peers to help run the business—not just report on it.

Note: This role is posted as located in the State of Oregon for confidentiality purposes. The search is fully confidential, and specific company location and details will be shared after mutual execution of an NDA.

Responsibilities
  • Full financial ownership for a high‑volume U.S. manufacturing site
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in a growth‑driven environment
  • Month‑end close, reporting, and compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
  • Development of KPIs and performance visibility for the site leadership team
  • Cost management, margin improvement, and EBITDA performance
  • Financial analysis to support operational, capital, and commercial decision‑making
  • External partner management (banks, auditors, and advisors)
  • Close, day‑to‑day partnership with site and functional leaders to drive accountability, discipline, and execution
Qualifications
  • Senior finance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment of approximately 200–1,000 employees
  • 10+ years of progressive experience across finance, accounting, FP&A, and operational finance
  • Background in CPG, FMCG, food, beverage, nutrition, pharma, or other high‑speed manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of plant economics, cost structures, and operational KPIs
  • Proven ability to build structure, improve visibility, and raise financial discipline
  • Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to mentor and develop a small team
  • Comfort operating within a global organization and collaborating across time zones
  • The confidence to set expectations, prioritize effectively, and deliver while continuously improving the work and team environment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, ideally in finance or accounting;
Master’s degree or MBA a plus
  • Multi‑site manufacturing and global experience valued
  • Ability and willingness to operate primarily on‑site in an active manufacturing environment

This is a confidential retained search
. Company details will be shared after NDA is signed. Candidate confidentiality will be respected at every stage.
