Land Use Planner (Help Program) - Cortland County Planning Department
This is professional and technical planning work of a complex nature which involves the responsibility for conducting and assisting with a variety of planning activities and projects. Supervision received from a higher-level administrator. Does related work as required.

Either:
- Possession of an Associate’s degree or higher in one of the above fields and three (3) years of work experience as defined in (a); OR
- An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (a) and (b).
Note: Degree must have been awarded by a college or university accredited by a regional, national, or specialized agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education/U.S. Secretary of Education. If the degree was awarded by an educational institution outside of the United States and its territories, applicant must provide independent verification of equivalency.
