Provide Speech‑Language Pathology therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive levels of interaction with facilities and clients, following the principles and practices of Speech‑Language Pathology therapy and Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Maintain quality patient care, including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, discharge planning, and case management responsibilities. Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding speech‑language pathology therapy.
- Optimize communication, cognitive‑linguistic abilities, and swallowing skills of patients by providing, directing, and/or overseeing speech therapy
- Build a strong Speech‑Language Pathology (SLP) therapy program
- Enhance clinical expertise, professional, and management skills through collaboration, self‑study, and continuing education
- Maintain a valid state license and stay aware of profession and health‑care environment issues
- Understand payment models related to billing and treatment guidelines, and provide quality care within those guidelines
- Follow infection control procedures and environmental safety protocols in the facility
- Provide services in English (instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, reports, and secure communications)
- Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid Speech‑Language Pathologist state license (where applicable)
- Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
- Basic internet navigation skills
- Valid Speech‑Language Pathologist state license (where appropriate)
