Mammography Technologist – RAYUS Radiology

RAYUS Radiology is hiring a full‑time Mammography Technologist. The position offers a sign‑on bonus of up to $7,000 and a pay range of $35,000–$53,000, based on direct and relevant experience.

Work schedule:

five 8‑hour shifts or four 10‑hour shifts, rotating Saturdays.

• Screens patients before examination and verifies patient identifiers.
• Explains and prepares patients for mammography imaging procedures, guiding them through the process and addressing questions.
• Performs routine and advanced mammography imaging for diagnostic purposes, providing patient support throughout the procedure.
• Adjusts scan parameters, uses dose‑reduction techniques, and ensures image quality.
• Maintains positive relationships with radiologists, referring clinicians, and team members.
• Follows physician orders and safety regulations, protecting patients and colleagues.
• Accurately records patient data in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Maintains a clean, orderly work area and ensures equipment is clean and disinfected after use.
• Upkeeps ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Assists with imaging protocol maintenance and software upgrades.
• Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as needed.
• Supports training of new associates.
• Completes other tasks as assigned.

• Certified Mammography Technologist with valid state credential.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical mammography experience.
• Strong customer‑service skills and ability to communicate complex procedures to patients.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and radiology safety regulations.
