Pet‑CT Technologist
Compass Oncology, the largest privately‑owned cancer care and research facility in the Pacific Northwest, is looking for a PET‑CT Technologist to work on our mobile PET team and at our new East Cancer Center in Happy Valley, OR.

Employment TypeFull‑time, 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday.
LocationEast Cancer Clinic (Happy Valley, OR) and Mobile PET.
Salary Range$42.32–$68.31 per hour, determined by experience and qualifications.
ScopeUnder limited supervision, the technologist performs diagnostic PET/CT and CT imaging procedures, collaborates with the Medical Director and supervisor on technical issues, equipment performance, and quality assurance, and supports the US Oncology Compliance Program.
Responsibilities- Performs diagnostic PET/CT or CT imaging procedures, including injection of radiopharmaceuticals or IV contrast, oral contrast administration, protocol setup, patient positioning, reconstruction and image capture, network image transfer, and archiving.
- Assists in procedure scheduling and front‑office functions to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensures accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution, and patient files.
- Collects clinical data for patient follow‑up and contributes to teaching and educational materials.
- Provides protection for patient and self per safety standards, conducts daily quality control measures, and reports malfunctions or needed service to appropriate vendors.
- Manages patient data and films, including printing, archiving, retrieval, network transfers, tracking, and logging of loaned or requested outside films.
- Recognizes contraindications for IV contrast, identifies possible reactions, and follows response procedures.
- Orders necessary office, medical, printing, and archiving media.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology from an AMA‑accredited program.
- PET/CT certification.
- CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) and/or ARRT (Nuclear) certification as required by state law.
- One to three years of experience in nuclear medicine and/or previous PET experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
