The Quality Analyst provides administrative and technical support to the Quality Manager in implementing, coordinating, and maintaining the organization’s Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program. This role assists with data collection, reporting, survey readiness and committee support. This position also supports the RHC/PCPHC Clinic by maintaining and tracking Incentive Measure requirements, reviewing monthly gap reports, communicating discrepancies to insurers, and assisting with monitoring required screenings.
Strong organizational skills, accuracy, confidentiality and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential.
- Assist the manager with the implementation and monitoring of QAPI activities across the organization.
- Support data abstraction, entry, and reporting for clinical quality measures and performance improvement projects.
- Prepare, maintain, and organize documentation for regulatory compliance, quality reporting, and audits (e.g., CMS, DNV, State).
- Assist in preparing quality dashboards, tracking logs, and summary reports for leadership and staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure accuracy of quality-related records.
- Support quality improvement teams with project coordination, scheduling, and materials.
- Assist with patient satisfaction surveys, data compilation, and report preparation.
- Maintain knowledge of organizational policies and procedures related to quality and compliance.
- Coordinate communication with other departments regarding quality initiatives, ensuring timely updates and document sharing.
- Provide clerical and technical support, including document formatting, spreadsheets and reporting.
- Maintain, track and update patient reports for the RHC/PCPCH Clinic related to Incentive Measures to ensure patients are seen within required timelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
- Review monthly gap reports to verify that patient lists are accurate, current, and complete.
- Notify insurers of any discrepancies identified in gap reports and track corrections.
- Assist with monitoring and tracking required annual screenings for the RHC/PCPCH Clinic, ensuring compliance with incentive measures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
Required:
- High school or equivalent.
- Experience in healthcare quality, compliance, or data support role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current certification as Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or within two years of hiring date.
Preferred:
- Experience in the practice if Six Sigma and LEAN Methodologies.
