Position: DCS DBA Data Modeling/ Data Engineering

Job Summary –

  • Data acquisition:
    Find datasets that meet business needs
  • Data processing:
    Develop algorithms to transform data into useful information
  • Data infrastructure:
    Build and maintain data management systems, such as databases and data pipelines
  • Data security:
    Implement security measures to protect sensitive data
  • Data collaboration:
    Work with other teams to understand data requirements and deliver relevant datasets
  • Data documentation:
    Maintain documentation of data processes, workflows, and best practices
  • Data optimization:
    Optimize data infrastructure and processes for better performance and scalability
  • Data analysis:
    Create analytical tools to provide insight into key business performance metrics
  • Data visualization:
    Build data models and pipelines for research, reporting, and machine learning

Years of experience needed – 10 + years

Technical Expertise:
  • Familiar with different types of data storage, including SQL and No

    SQL databases
  • Need to know how to use database management systems like MySQL, Oracle, Postgre

    SQL, and MongoDB
Change Management Methodology:
  • Proficiency in ITIL or other recognized change management frameworks, including knowledge of best practices for managing change.
Communication

Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Analytical

Skills:
  • Ability to analyze potential impacts of changes, identify risks, and make informed decisions.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across different departments and manage expectations effectively.
Problem-solving:
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during the change implementation process.
Project Management:
  • Basic project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor change initiatives.
Leadership:
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve successful change outcomes.
