The Target Pay Range for this position is $-$ annually. The full Pay Range is $ - $ annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. As a Sr. Systems Engineer at BECU, you'll play a pivotal role in modernizing our mortgage experience by building the infrastructure that powers our new Loan Origination System (LOS) using ICE Encompass. Your work will directly impact our members by ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable systems that support faster delivery of features and services. You'll lead the design and automation of CI/CD pipelines, enabling seamless deployments and integrations across environments.

To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, OR, , AZ, TX, GA, or SC. If you're located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote.

• Build CI/CD Pipelines: Design and implement automated pipelines using Azure Dev Ops to streamline deployments and improve system reliability.
• Automate Infrastructure: Use Infrastructure-as-Code to provision and configure environments, ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Deploy APIs: Configure and deploy APIs developed by the software team, enabling seamless integration across platforms.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with engineering, architecture, and vendor teams to ensure smooth implementation and integration.
• Ensure System Health: Monitor and maintain telemetry data including system health, performance metrics, and application logs.
• Design Secure Systems: Anticipate risks and implement cybersecurity best practices from the earliest stages of development.
• Write and Test Code: Develop high-quality code and implement unit, integration, and interoperability tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Document and Communicate: Create process and dataflow diagrams and clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Support and Troubleshoot: Be available on-call to resolve issues and ensure system uptime during non-business hours.
