Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting Needs Analysis and preparing Analysis Reports
  • Liaising with stakeholders (SMEs, client) for requirement analysis etc.
  • Designing effective learning solutions considering client requirements and latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and the latest best practices in
  • Designing / developing end-to-end learning solutions (curriculum to storyboarding – with team / independently)
  • Designing and creating standards, guidelines, templates, and checklists for the proposed learning solution, and provide guidance to the team in creating these documents
  • Managing client communication regarding project requirements
  • Creating design proposals and actively participating in Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes
  • Providing /approaches and estimates for large bids and complex projects
  • Conducting quality assurance edits of the final learning solution/product and deliverables such as:
    • RFPs
    • Design proposals
    • Content Outlines
    • ISMs
    • Storyboards
    • Developed Prototypes and modules/courses
    • Storyboards
    • Guidelines & Checklists
  • Ensuring reviews and errors/defects are logged in the recommended format based on project requirements
  • Maintaining project documentation, including, proposals, design documents, storyboards,  etc. and adhering to version control
  • Providing guidance and support to junior IDs offering expertise in , methodologies, and tools
  • Ensuring that schedules and project efforts are met according to the training plan
  • Performing random audits to ensure all documents are maintained as per the
  • Identifying / recommending process improvements to build efficiencies
  • Conducting team meetings at regular intervals and managing team conflicts and aspirations
  • Mentoring and training team members based on project scope and requirements
  • Defining KPIs for IDs
  • Tracking and analyzing  in terms of quality, schedule, and effort
  • Providing constructive feedback to IDs and planning remedial training
  • Contributing to performance discussions and communicating individual strengths and weaknesses
  • Identifying individual  enhancement/development plans
  • Conducting training sessions on functional topics / industry trends
  • Developing  papers and innovative products that can be put up for industry awards
  • Participating in recruitment process
Preferred Skill/Experience/Requirement
  • 14 to 16 years of core instructional design experience in the corporate sector
  • 6+ years of experience as a Team Lead/Manager
  • Exposure to training and mentoring individuals and teams
  • Working knowledge of authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, RISE 360, Adobe Captivate, Vyond etc.
  • Working knowledge or experience of Digital Adaptation Platforms such as Walk Me will be an added advantage
  • Working knowledge or experience of ERP platform/tools such as SAP Enable Now, SAP S/4

    HANA, Oracle, will be an added advantage
  • Know-how of Learning Management System (LMS)/Learning Content Management (LCMS) and compliance standards (WCAG, SCORM, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality learning materials
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and with a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
  • Ability to think critically and analyze complex problems related to instructional design
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to manage small to medium teams

Qualification

  • A graduate in Arts (MA with English)/ Science or any graduate with a flair for writing.
