Overview
The Learning Program Manager supports programs that equip Trimble’s customers, channel (dealers) and internal teams with knowledge, tools, and processes to succeed. These programs target users in Trimble’s Civil Construction Field Solutions (CCFS) division, globally.
The Learning Program Manager oversees Trimble’s custom‑designed sales enablement program, Trimble Way, and provides high‑level oversight to ensure the program runs efficiently, meets goals and delivers ROI. The Learning Program Manager also oversees the Regional Learning Centers program, collaborating with channel organisations and internal operations to enable sales and broaden access to learning for dealers/customers. The Learning Program Manager may expand Trimble programs by coordinating training as needed, identifying needs, finding resources, pitching external training, and partnering with internal SMEs to create solutions that meet learning outcomes.
The Learning Program Manager is a high‑energy individual passionate about creating impactful learning experiences. The ideal candidate has superior communication, must be familiar with Trimble technologies in the CCFS business, experience managing employees/subcontractors, lead training program development and delivery, apply Adult Learning principles, and possess strong project/product management skills. This role oversees global programs and requires up to 25% travel.
- Trimble Way Sales Training Program: plan and monitor program execution; project coordination and management of interdependencies; create and manage budget; identify and address problems/risks; define and capture program data, analyse trends, recommend improvements; stakeholder communications, negotiations, problem‑solving; marketing strategy and material design; align or realign deliverables with program outcomes; coordinate program resources such as third‑party vendors, SMEs, and stakeholders.
- Regional Learning Centers: partner with Trimble channel organisations to deploy regional learning centres within a cost and revenue‑sharing model; build sub‑domains of Trimble Learning Management Systems for regional deployments; identify and coordinate relevant learning content; enforce Trimble training quality standards; drive customer success through learning connection and engagement.
- Manage workload responsibly and meet project goals and deadlines; provide project management and leadership for course development and maintenance projects, ensuring timelines and quality requirements are met; communicate project timelines, statuses, and action items to stakeholders.
- Evaluate and recommend off‑the‑shelf/vendor training programs, training software, and other systems to drive learning transfer.
- Fully utilise Trimble’s LMS in delivery and tracking of learning solutions.
- Keep abreast of industry trends.
- Build and manage online training curricula for CCFS, including e‑learning, instructor‑led training, and informal learning channels on Learn.
Trimble. - Quarterly cost, revenue, and strategic milestone reporting to the Director of Learning CCFS and other stakeholders.
- Provide learning plans and progress reporting for managers within the CCFS business and dealers network.
- Collaborate with product/solution contributors (Product Managers and Solution Engineers).
- Understand users’ workflows and learning needs within the Civil Engineering technology business, dealers organisation, and customers’ job sites.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Minimum three years of experience in a professional role related to technology training and development.
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Geomatics.
- Preferred experience using Trimble solutions in the Civil Construction industry (machine control and site positioning systems).
- Desired experience implementing workflow solutions within the construction industry.
- Experience working with non‑native English speakers and organisations based outside the US.
- Proven ability to learn and train others on software and/or hardware technologies.
