Equipment Technician (Photolithography)
We are partnered with a leading semiconductor manufacturer who needs an Equipment Technician (Photolithography) to support high-volume semiconductor manufacturing operations in their Oregon fab. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing advanced photolithography equipment to ensure maximum tool uptime, process stability, and safety compliance.
Base pay range$35.00/hr - $60.00/hr
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on photolithography equipment (steppers, scanners, tracks)
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and optical system issues
- Support tools from vendors such as ASML, Nikon, Canon
, and associated track systems - Respond to equipment alarms and production downtime events in a 24/7 fab environment
- Execute tool qualifications and return-to-service procedures after maintenance
- Work closely with process engineers and manufacturing teams to improve tool performance and yield
- Follow cleanroom protocols
, safety procedures, and EHS standards - Document maintenance activities, failure modes, and corrective actions in CMMS systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and uptime
- Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in electronics, mechatronics, engineering technology
, or related field - 8+ years of hands‑on experience maintaining semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- Experience specifically with photolithography tools strongly preferred
- Ability to read schematics, service manuals, and technical documentation
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and wearing required PPE
- Willingness to work compressed shifts, nights, weekends, or on‑call rotations
