Legacy Talent Search is hiring an Electronics Recycling Technician in Clackamas, OR. Key Responsibilities:
  • Dismantle, sort, and process electronic waste, including computers, monitors, printers, and other devices, following safety and environmental standards.
  • Operate and maintain recycling equipment such as shredders, sorters, and conveyors.
  • Identify and separate reusable, recyclable, and hazardous materials, ensuring proper handling.
  • Adhere to recycling schedules to maximize efficiency and meet production targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of processed materials and equipment maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations.
  • Work closely with operations teams to address equipment issues and improve processes.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
  • Respond quickly to equipment or process disruptions to minimize downtime.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience in electronics recycling, manufacturing, or a related industrial field.
  • Knowledge of electronic components, hazardous materials, and recycling processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, safety guidelines, and recycling protocols.
  • Basic computer skills for logging activities and tracking inventory.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Forklift certification or experience with material handling equipment is a plus.
  • Commitment to safety, sustainability, and teamwork.
