Registered Nurse, Certified Anesthetist reports to the Anesthesia Medical Director in partnership with a Chief CRNA and collaborates closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, perioperative leadership, and PACU/OB leaders. Registered Nurse, Certified Anesthetist will work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with OR RNs, surgical techs, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and perioperative services to deliver seamless anesthesia care. Registered Nurse, Certified Anesthetist may precept SRNAs and mentor new team members to support a high‑reliability culture.
Registered Nurse, Certified Anesthetist will practice within a dynamic anesthesia service covering multiple ORs and procedural areas, including general surgery, orthopedics, GI/endoscopy, OB, ENT, and select outpatient cases. Registered Nurse, Certified Anesthetist will enjoy a steady mix of elective and emergent cases, working with engaged surgeons and experienced anesthesia colleagues who value autonomy, teamwork, and clinical excellence. Registered Nurse, Certified Anesthetist will have access to modern monitoring, ultrasound‑guided regional tools, and streamlined workflows.
Registered Nurse, Certified Anesthetist provides the full scope of anesthesia care: pre‑op assessment, induction, maintenance, emergence, airway management, regional/neuraxial techniques, hemodynamic management, and postoperative analgesia, in accordance with Medical Staff bylaws and Oregon statutes. Registered Nurse, Certified Anesthetist contributes to quality improvement, ERAS pathways, education/competency development, and meticulous documentation, while supporting workflow, case efficiency, and positive physician relations. Registered Nurse, Certified Anesthetist is expected to maintain punctual, reliable attendance and uphold high standards of safety and infection prevention, with potential call participation as needed;
