Laboratory Technician ; Lab – Media Prep

Position: Laboratory Technician 2 (Lab Support – Media Prep)

The Laboratory Technician 2 (
** Lab Support – Media Prep)
** is a full-time permanent position, there, this position follows a Monday through Friday 7 AM to 4 PM work schedule. This position is located in Wilsonville, Oregon.
* Two years of experience performing routine, standardized analytical tests and laboratory procedures in accordance with well-defined written instructions AND high school courses in chemistry, biology, mathematics, or any course which included laboratory work.
* Or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
* An Associate's Degree in Laboratory Science may substitute for one year of the required experience
* Some walking & heavy lifting no more than 30 lb maybe required.
* Experience preparing and maintaining records of microbiological media and reagent preparation,
* Experience using analytical tools: pipets, balances, volumetric glassware, etc,
* Experience keeping accurate and legible records,
* Experience in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory,
* Able to work alone or with a team as tasks require,
* Reliable,
* Detail oriented,
* Consistent work output,
