Loxworth Capital is a private investment firm with a growing portfolio of high-impact, export-oriented agricultural ventures across the SADC region. As we continue to expand our hydroponic blueberry operations in Southern Africa, we are looking for a motivated Junior Agronomist to join our technical team.

What You’ll Do:- Support senior agronomists in implementing crop nutrition and fertigation schedules.
- Assist with data collection on plant health, substrate performance, and yield.
- Monitor pest and disease indicators and help implement control measures.
- Participate in field trials, R&D, and ongoing optimisation of growing methods.
- Use digital tools and AI assistants to streamline tasks and reporting.
- Work in coordination with production and technology teams on daily farm operations.
- A degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Horticulture or a related field.
- Strong interest in modern agriculture, sustainability, and precision growing.
- Curiosity, enthusiasm, and a proactive mindset.
- Good communication and collaboration skills — you work well in a team.
- Openness to using AI platforms and digital systems for learning and performance.
- Willingness and ability to relocate to any of our farm sites in the region.
This position is part of our regional expansion. The successful candidate may be placed in Namibia, Zambia, Tanzania, or Botswana, based on project needs. Accommodation and support will be provided to assist with relocation.
