Intermediate Software Developer – Cornell Pump Company, LLC

Location: Clackamas, OR
Job Type: Full-time, onsite
Salary: $85,000 – $105,000 (DOE)

- Develop APIs, database infrastructure, and user interfaces to improve and support multiple cloud‑based software products and platforms.
- Interface with various data types and sources, including telemetric data from IoT‑monitored remote equipment and manufacturing, sales, and part data from ERP databases.
- Focus on code readability, reusability, and maintainability; optimize code and review peers' work.
- Provide technical guidance and assistance to other Cornell engineers.
- Develop features and bug fixes for various software projects and products.
- Uphold development standards, style guidelines, and product implementation gaps.
- Track work and keep feature tickets up to date using Jira.
- Review feature pull requests for efficacy and maintainability.
- Assist with feature design and documentation under supervision.
- Handle development work in Ruby on Rails; learn Rails on the job and maintain existing code base.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related fields, and 4 years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent demonstrated ability.
