Mity Lite is an award-winning manufacturer of professionally designed highly durable event furniture. Trusted worldwide, Mity Lite products are found primarily in banquet, meeting, and event venues in the hospitality, education, government, and church markets.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Staff Accountant. The purpose of this job is to keep financial records updated, prepare reports, and reconcile bank accounts. The Staff Accountant ensures that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.

• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
• Backup collections if needed
• Help gather documents for audits
• Assist with any PO cleanup deemed necessary
• Help with year-end inventory data entry
• Daily enter key data of financial transactions in the database
• Bank Reconciliations
• Assist with closing books and records each month

• 3+ years of accounting experience and/or bachelor's degree in accounting
• Basic knowledge of basic financial, tax, and accounting principles
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and aptitude for learning new systems
