Student - Secondary Creative Learning Studio Fellow Assistant

UVU School of Education (Secondary) is seeking a creative studio assistant to prepare place-based curriculum with professors in the department.

• Gathering, compiling, cleaning and/or entering data
• Assisting with transcription and/or coding of qualitative data
• Assisting in programming, coordinating, and conducting survey research, focus groups and other data collection efforts
• Cleaning and analyzing data
• Assisting in producing, cleaning, and analyzing data files
• Producing summaries of data from data sets
• Assisting with department’s social media posts and digital signs

• Must be a current UVU student
• Applicants should have place-based experience and be a secondary education major

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good telephone, email, and customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Professionalism
• Organizational skills
• Computer skills (Internet, Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Good work ethic/self‑motivated
• Team‑player mindset
• Ability to interact and communicate in person and on the phone with college students
• Willingness to try/learn new things
• Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms
