Customer Service Rep, Bilingual
Position Overview
Member Services Representative – Full Time – Overnight. Bilingual English/Spanish encouraged. Join Planet Fitness to provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service/Front Desk
Activities:
Greet members and guests, provide exceptional service, assist callers, check members in, tour and sign up new members, log amenities, respond to member questions, conduct beverage or merchandise purchases, utilize POS system for new membership cards, address and billing questions. - Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:
Keep front desk area and lobby clean and orderly. Perform regular facility cleaning and upkeep such as mopping spills, trash removal, cleaning windows and mirrors, re‑racking weights, cleaning all exercise equipment, tanning beds, restrooms and wet area cleaning and stocking.
- Must submit to a 7‑year criminal background check within the first week of hire. Continued employment based on satisfactory background check outcome.
- Exceptional customer service skills; positive, professional interaction with members and co‑workers. Exceed members’ expectations.
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
- Minimum 18 years of age or older. High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
- Upbeat, positive, professional attitude; punctuality and reliability essential.
- Obtain and maintain CPR/AED certification within required time frames and ability to perform CPR in medical emergency.
Walk and stand for prolonged periods; frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand motion. Occasionally lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate weight up to 50 lbs. Continuously talk in person or on the phone during shift. Maintain ability to administer CPR in medical emergency. Visual and hearing requirements meeting normal ranges with or without correction.
