• Teach undergraduate courses in Art & Design across foundational to advanced levels, preparing course outlines, syllabi, exams, and instructional materials.
• Instruct, manage, and supervise individuals and groups in the classroom and studio using demonstrations, discussions, visual and audio aids, video conference, and community engagement.
• Evaluate instruction and learning through written, oral, practical, and performance assessments.
• Maintain accurate student‑grade and attendance records.
• Establish and maintain office hours and advise students; collaborate with department stakeholders on curriculum development.
• Engage in scholarly and creative activities, producing research and scholarship consistent with department objectives.
• Contribute to departmental, school, and university committees and initiatives; perform other responsibilities as assigned.

• MFA in visual art/design or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• College‑level teaching experience.
• Demonstrated ability to teach a broad range of media and conceptual approaches.
• Experience mentoring diverse student populations.
• Administrative or leadership experience in academic settings.

• In‑depth knowledge of historical observational and contemporary theories in the arts.
• Knowledge of student management, motivation, and evaluation techniques.
• Knowledge of entrepreneurial career development in the arts.
• Knowledge of gallery management in academic and/or professional settings.
