Job Summary:

Under the direction of the BIM Manager, the BIM Coordinator supports the work of the preconstruction department by planning, designing, and using the most up-to-date BIM software.

• The ability to work in a variety of large-scale construction environments including commercial, educational, and healthcare projects.
• Learn and demonstrate proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM 360, Assemble, etc.
• Work with the BIM Manager, clients, design teams, and subcontractors during pre-construction and construction phases to help coordinate and build 3D models, 2D shop drawings, as-built and submittal drawings.

• Adapts to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation.
• Ability to read and understand plan drawings, specs, and other project requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to work in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM 360, Assemble).
• Strong collaborative and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• The ability to balance multiple projects at a time.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency in visualizing the constructability of various projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Virtual Design and Construction, Construction Management, or related field
• 1 to 3 years’ experience in BIM-focused work.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to travel to various locations for company affairs.
