JOB SUMMARY As a Project Engineer, you will plan, develop, coordinate, and manage construction engineering activities for multiple construction projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical engineering information to supervisors and crafts to insure construction work and the completed project complies with all engineering standards, drawings, codes, and specifications.
- Assist with subcontract coordination, contract administration, submittals, creation and revision of work plans, budgets, schedules, change orders, field verification of quantities and work performed.
- Develop good working relationships and communicate with vendors, owners, subcontractors, and company support groups.
- Manage, inspect, and coordinate SWPPP plans to maintain compliance with governing agencies.
- Perform basic field layout and construction survey.
- Complete other directives as assigned by your direct supervisor.
- Maintain an insurable driving record.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Heavy Civil Construction industry.
- Technical Knowledge Proficient understanding of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, and applicable standards.
- Communication Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Responsibility Demonstrated capability to assume responsibility and meet deadlines.
- Software Proficiency Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be willing and able to travel (high paying Per Diem will be added to salary).
