Pay$20-$25 per hour (Pay varies by assignment and site requirements; Mileage reimbursement provided at the standard IRS mileage rate)
Schedule- Monday through Friday
- Evenings only
- No weekends
- Typical start time: 5:30 PM
- Typical weekly hours: 15-20 hours
- Typical shift length: 3-5 hours per evening

Job SummaryWSI Trash & Recycling Valet is building an applicant pool for Evening Field Support Leads to assist, monitor, and support nightly door-side to dumpster trash and recycling valet services at multifamily apartment communities across Utah County, Utah. This is a part-time evening leadership support role ideal for dependable individuals seeking supplemental income, hands-on field work, and a clear path toward advancement into higher operations roles.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and assist nightly trash and recycling valet routes
- Provide on-site support to Trash & Recycling Valet Porters
- Step in to perform collection duties when coverage or assistance is needed
- Collect bagged trash, recycling, and broken-down cardboard from apartment doors
- Transport materials to dumpsters, trash chutes, or compactors
- Inspect recycling for contamination and ensure proper separation
- Engage professionally with residents and on-site management
- Issue Educational Courtesy Compliance Notices and take required photos
- Upload documentation, photos, and notes using a mobile app
- Clean loose trash around dumpster areas, chute rooms, and compactors
- Return equipment to designated storage areas
- Assist with:
- Training new team members
- Supporting technician development
- Completing Quality Assurance audits
- Occasionally assist with pet waste stations, bag replacements, and common-area waste management
- Evening shifts averaging 3-5 hours
- Weekly hours typically range 15-20 hours
- Shift length may vary based on:
- Property size and layout
- Coverage needs
- Seasonal or operational factors
- Extensive walking across apartment communities
- Ascending and descending stairs at some properties
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Some assignments may require use of a personal open-bed pickup truck
- Reliable, conscientious, and self-motivated
- Professional and courteous with residents and property staff
- Valid Utah driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Valid auto insurance as required by the role
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Must possess a smartphone with active data plan and location services enabled
- Must be available Monday through Friday evenings
- Able to meet physical demands of the role
Prior valet trash, porter, or field operations experience is helpful but not required. Training provided.
