Overview

Pay: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year

Are you passionate about making a profound impact on the lives of teenage girls facing complex challenges? If you have a background in psychology, behavioral science, social work, or a related field, New Haven Residential Treatment Center invites you to join our team as a Clinical Therapist.

Our residential program, located in the serene surroundings of Spanish Fork, Utah, provides treatment and a nurturing home for adolescent females ages 14 to 18 and their families. We focus on traumatic stress, family dynamics, mental health, and relational growth, working together to make lasting change.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual therapeutic sessions with students to address unique needs, challenges, and emotional well‑being.
  • Facilitate family therapy sessions, fostering open communication and resolving family dynamics.
  • Lead specialized group therapy sessions that promote personal growth and interpersonal skills.
  • Participate in weekly interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive, individualized student plans.
  • Engage in regular clinical meetings and supervision to support ongoing professional development.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation and charting of sessions and student progress.
  • Actively participate in family weekend therapeutic support.
  • Organize and lead two‑day camping trips twice a year to provide experiential learning and build relationships.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a behavioral science field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
  • Fully licensed (LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC) preferred; associate licensure (CSW, AMFT, ACMHC) also accepted.
  • Commitment to client growth through collaborative, team‑based care.
  • Preferred two years of therapy experience, including individual, family, and group sessions.
  • One year of experience in a residential setting using relational and experiential modalities is a plus.
  • Proficient in treatment planning, adjustment, and state background checks.
  • Willingness to create a CAQH profile, obtain an NPI number, and maintain credentialing.
