Job Description

Rocky Mountain Distributing, a leading name in the distribution sector, is excited to announce the availability of a new position for a Management Trainee. This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to jumpstart their career in management within a dynamic and fast-growing company. As a Management Trainee, you will be immersed in all aspects of our operations, gaining key insights and hands-on experience necessary to prepare for a leadership role within our organization.

Note that this position is Contract/Temporary and is based infeild; thus, it is not a remote job. Candidates will be expected to commit to the duration of the contract with a performance evaluation between 30 to 90 days, which could potentially lead to further developmental opportunities based on performance.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures to set an example for the rest of the team.
  • Engage in training and ongoing development sessions to fully understand company operations and systems.
  • Assist various departments in daily operations to gain a holistic view of the company, which includes hands-on training in areas of marketing, sales, customer service, and finance.
  • Work on real projects that contribute to the objectives of your department and the company as a whole.
  • Analyze data and create reports on key metrics to help optimize business performances.
  • Participate in strategic planning and brainstorming sessions, providing innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Manage and lead small teams for specific projects under the guidance of senior staff, learning leadership and team management skills.
  • Provide feedback on workflow and operational systems to supervisors for system improvements.
  • Build and nurture relationships across all levels of the company to facilitate a collaborative working environment.
  • Evaluate current processes and propose improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Must be able to start as soon as possible.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • No prior experience necessary, all training provided.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow within the company.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Willingness to undergo evaluations and receive feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Eagerness to take on responsibilities and challenges with a positive attitude.
  • Commitment to a 30 to 90 day review process as part of the Trainee program.
