RN ER Nights

Overview

• Assess patient pain regularly and manage pain using evidence‑based interventions.
• Perform ordered procedures, monitor patients, and document care promptly in the medical record.
• Respond quickly to patient requests and anticipate needs proactively.
• Teach patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and side effects in clear, understandable language.
• Educate patients and families on non‑medicinal follow‑up measures such as healthy diet, exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes, preparing them for future self‑management.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) completion within 1 year of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS‑Adv) certification obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or higher.
• Previous ER RN experience strongly preferred; multiple years of higher acuity hospital experience (Med‑Surg, PCU, or ICU) considered.
