• Retail experience preferred but not required.

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers, aiming for at least five items per bag while preventing damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging using reusable, plastic, or paper bags.
• Assist customers in removing merchandise from the bottom of baskets for checkout.
• Offer help loading bags into customers’ vehicles.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning, return merchandise to shelves, and manage bascarts.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Clean spills, collect trash inside the store and parking lot, and maintain all interior and exterior areas.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise, support preventive maintenance, and report equipment issues.
• Assist customers with special needs, minors, and older adults.
• Adhere to safety programs, food safety regulations, and local, state, and federal laws.
• Work cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment, manage conflict calmly, and act with honesty and integrity.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
