WhatWe’re Looking For
We are seeking a driven Convenience Store Sales Representative to lead the expansion of our C‑store presence. You’ll be responsible for driving distribution, elevating brand visibility, and building long‑term relationships across convenience store chains, distributors, and independent operators. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, understands retail strategy, and knows how to win space and velocity in a competitive category.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Account Development & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C‑store chains, distributor partners, and independent accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers, category managers, and store‑level leadership.
- Conduct regular account check‑ins to strengthen partnerships and identify growth opportunities.
- New Business Acquisition
- Prospect and secure new C‑store accounts through outbound outreach, store visits, networking, and trade show participation.
- Coordinate with key distributors (including Core‑Mark, McLane, H.T. Hackney, and regional partners) to open and activate new retail doors.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight product benefits, category performance, and promotional programs.
- Retail Execution & Merchandising
- Ensure optimal shelf placement, cold vault visibility, and display execution across assigned accounts.
- Audit stores for merchandising compliance, inventory levels, pricing accuracy, and promotional activation.
- Support resets, product cut‑ins, and planogram changes to maximize brand presence.
- Program & Promotion Management
- Execute retail marketing programs, limited‑time offers (LTOs), and seasonal promotions.
Track promotional performance and recommend adjustments to improve lift and ROI.Partner with store personnel to educate them on product features and consumer benefits. - Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations on inventory flow, lead times, and distributor logistics.
- Partner with Marketing to align on brand messaging, POS materials, and in‑store activation.
- Collaborate with Finance to manage trade spend, pricing strategy, and promotional budgets.
- Data, Reporting & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate CRM records and manage a structured sales pipeline.
- Provide regular reporting on account performance, competitive activity, and sales opportunities.
- Assist in forecasting demand based on promotional calendars, distributor needs, and seasonal trends.
- Market & Category Insights
- Stay current on category trends, competitor innovation, retailer reset calendars, and distribution shifts within the C‑store channel.
- Identify white‑space opportunities and recommend strategies to increase velocity and placement.
- Brand Representation
- Represent Just Ingredients at distributor shows, customer meetings, field events, and industry conferences.
- Demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and deep product knowledge at all times.

Gym stipend. Qualifications- 2‑5+ years of CPG sales experience; beverage or convenience channel experience preferred.
- Existing relationships with C‑store buyers or distributor reps is a major advantage.
- Proven track record of opening new accounts and growing existing ones.
- Strong understanding of merchandising, promotions, and in‑store execution.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- CRM experience and comfort managing a sales pipeline.
- Highly organized, self‑motivated, and effective in a field‑based environment.
- Passion for health, wellness, and providing clean products to consumers.
