Role Overview

We’re looking for a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our in-office team in Orem, UT. In this full-cycle sales role, you’ll work with warm, inbound leads—individuals who have already expressed interest in pre-arranging their cremation or funeral services.

You’ll be responsible for contacting leads, understanding their needs, communicating our value, and helping them take the next step. This is a high-impact, high-reward position that directly supports our growth and mission.

No cold calling. All leads have opted in and are expecting outreach.

Must have or be willing and able to obtain a Life Insurance Producer License.

Base salary is $40,000/year.

OTE is $65,000/year.

Commissions are uncapped top reps earn $100,000+/year

This position is in-office, based out of our Orem, Utah location.

The Details

  • Schedule:Standard business hours (Monday-Friday)
  • Employment type and benefits: Full-time position. Medical, dental and vision benefits offered, as well as 401k. Other perks included, including access to a gym.
  • Location:In-office role in Orem, UT (not remote)
  • Compensation:Base salary + commission

What You’ll Do

  • Reach out to hot/warm inbound leads via phone, text, and email
  • Qualify potential customers and guide them through their pre-planning journey
  • Effectively communicate ’s value, process, and pricing
  • Schedule and manage your own sales calls and follow-ups
  • Close deals and exceed monthly sales targets
  • Track activity and performance metrics in our CRM and sales tools
  • Collaborate with teammates to improve messaging, tools, and workflows

  • 1+ years of experience in sales, appointment setting, or customer success
  • Comfort and confidence communicating over the phone
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with a drive to exceed goals
  • The ability to learn and use new tech tools quickly
  • Strong organization and calendar management skills
  • Empathy and professionalism when discussing sensitive topics
  • Willingness to obtain a Life Insurance Producer license (required)
