This role is ideal for someone looking to start a long-term career in plumbing by gaining hands-on experience in residential plumbing maintenance while learning directly from experienced technicians. The apprentice will focus on foundational maintenance services and ride along with senior plumbers to develop the skills required to become a full-service plumber.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with water heater maintenance, including flushing and preventative service
- Perform whole-home plumbing inspections under supervision
- Support drain cleaning services, including basic clearing and preventative maintenance
- Ride along with experienced service technicians to observe and assist with plumbing repairs and replacements
- Troubleshooting plumbing systems
- Customer communication and service best practices
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Properly handle tools, equipment, and materials
- Accurately document work performed and observations
- Follow all company safety policies and plumbing codes
- Represent the company professionally in customers’ homes
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade
- Ability to work in confined spaces, lift equipment, and perform physical tasks
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
- Basic hand tool familiarity is a plus (not required)
- No prior plumbing experience required — training provided
