As an Excavation Install Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced technicians, learning the ins and outs of underground utility work and how to safely operate the equipment that gets the job done. ** Key Responsibilities*
* • Assist with trenching, digging, grading, and back filling for utility installations  
• Support installation of underground piping, conduits, and drainage systems under supervision  
• Prepare tools, equipment, and materials for daily job assignments  
• Learn proper use of excavation equipment, hand tools, and safety gear  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on job sites  
• Perform manual labor tasks such as shoveling, lifting, compacting, and hauling materials  
• Communicate effectively with crew leads and supervisors about work activities

** Education*
* • High school diploma or equivalent required    
** Experience*
* • Previous experience in construction, excavation, or related trades preferred but not required  
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn excavation techniques    
** Licenses/Certifications*
* • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required (CDL a plus)    
** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities*
* • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision  
• Reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious    
** Physical Demands and Conditions*
* • Lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking  
• Work performed outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrain    
** Work Environment/Travel*
* • Field-based role requiring daily travel to residential and commercial job sites  
• May require overtime, evening, or weekend work depending on project schedules    
** Ability to pass background check and drug screening*
