Warehouse/Driver Associate

Johnstone Supply – The Founders Group is a 3rd generation, family‑owned wholesale distributor for heating, cooling, and refrigeration supplies and equipment, operating across six states.

The Warehouse/Driver Associate provides assistance to both internal and external customers by performing warehouse responsibilities and supporting the team as a backup driver. This role includes delivering orders, processing shipments, maintaining warehouse organization, and providing customer service.

• Deliver orders to customers in a professional and timely manner.
• Receive daily rush orders and weekly orders; check stage on orders.
• Put away stock in the warehouse and pull will‑call orders for customer pick‑up.
• Maintain bin locations and process ship‑outs for the branch.
• Process all warranty and return paperwork, ensuring documents are neatly and properly filled.
• Prepare warranty and return shipments to the Tigard branch and/or vendor direct.
• Order and return compressed gas tanks as needed.
• Clean and straighten warehouse daily; follow all company policies and store standards.
• Assist with counter/phone sales and call customers to inform them of any backorders that are ready for pick‑up on an as‑needed basis.
• Recycle cardboard and empty branch garbage twice a week.
• Fill freight claims when necessary.
• Assist with stocking showroom and attend ongoing training classes.
• Work on special projects as assigned.

• Must possess and maintain a current valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED plus 2–3 years of related experience and/or training; HVAC/R experience preferred.
• Experience in shipping/receiving and material handling.
• Typing speed of 30–50 wpm; proficient operating a computer and a calculator.
• Organized, capable of prioritizing work, meeting deadlines, and handling multiple tasks.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with strong listening skills.
• Forklift certification.
