Vaco has partnered with our client to hire an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to provide high-level support to attorneys.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
Support trial prep, hearings, depositions, and document production
Manage court e-filing and deadlines across jurisdictions
Maintain case files, databases, and calendars
Coordinate meetings, court appearances, and travel
Handle billing, expense reports, new matters, and file openings
Communicate professionally with clients and third parties
Work closely with internal teams to support legal workflows
:
5+ years in litigation-focused legal admin support
College degree preferred, not required
Microsoft Office (especially Word, Outlook, Excel)
Document management systems (e.g., iManage)
Knowledge of state court filing systems
Excellent attention to detail and organization
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask under deadlines
Professional, discreet, and proactive
Team player who can also work independently
Flexible to work occasional overtime
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
