FOOD SERVICE WORKER (PART TIME) – Chartwells School Dining Services K12

Location:

Orinda Union School District – 8 Altarinda Road, Orinda, CA 94563 (online applications only).

Schedule:

Part‑time. 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., days may vary. Pay: $22.00–$24.00 per hour. Internal employee referral bonus available.

Prepares, presents, and serves food as required.

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food‑safety, and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash‑control procedures.
• Comply with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
