Senior Associate, Assurance at Forvis Mazars US
Location:
Orlando, FL – Salary: $60,000.00–$
The Assurance team delivers independent, objective services that bring transparency and confidence to financial reporting. With deep industry knowledge and a proactive, communicative approach, we help clients navigate complex reporting requirements.
What You Will Do- Perform detailed audit procedures over various income statement and balance sheet accounts.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and identify discrepancies or risks.
- Deliver exceptional client service that exceeds expectations and cultivate strong relationships as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate proactively with key client management to identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks by organizing workflows, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion within budget and scope.
- Utilize technology tools effectively and demonstrate a commitment to process improvement through innovation.
- Complete Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements to maintain technical proficiency.
- Support the proposal process for prospective clients by contributing insights.
- Collaborate on Forvis Mazars‑sponsored technical publications and contribute to internal learning and development sessions.
- Represent the firm at campus recruiting events, engaging with university talent.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- 2+ years of relevant audit experience.
- Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings, including overnight stays.
- Master's Degree in a related field.
- Current and valid CPA license.
- Experience with Caseware software for financial reporting and audit documentation.
