Senior Staff Accountant

Our client, a leading Financial Services firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be part of the finance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location:
Orlando, Florida - Hybrid

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Oversee general ledger functions and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts.
• Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Handle premium accounting, claims reserves, and reinsurance transactions.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Extensive experience in accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance industry regulations.
