JE Owens & Company, P.A., a full‑service accounting and consulting firm located in Orlando, FL, provides business and individual tax planning and preparation services, small business accounting services and compilation, review and audit services for clients in Florida and throughout the southeast United States.

• Manage complex tax and accounting engagements for high‑quality clients.
• Prepare federal and state tax returns, including fiduciary returns.
• Handle returns for high‑net‑worth individuals, privately held businesses (partnerships, C‑Corp & S‑Corp) and non‑profit entities.
• Review and prepare compiled, review and audited financial statements.
• Participate in new business development initiatives.
• Develop and cultivate professional client relationships.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience encompassing progressive scope and responsibilities.
• CPA license preferred, but not required if candidate possesses solid public accounting experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, time‑management, client‑service and PC skills including MS Office and accounting software proficiency (Thompson Reuters CS, Quick Books Desktop/Online, Drake Tax Software and related products are a big plus).
• Ability to professionally lead tax and accounting engagements, identify complex accounting issues and juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Prior experience with fiduciary returns or developing new business is a plus.
