Position Overview:
The Senior Property Accountant will support the accounting team during a 6-week assignment by managing reconciliations, payments, and month-end close processes. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, time management, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.
Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
Calculate management fees using Excel with data pulled from Yardi.
Assist with accounts payable and month-end close activities.
Perform additional accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Yardi (required).
Strong problem-solving, relationship management, and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Highly motivated, proactive team player who can work with minimal supervision.
