Tax Auditor IV in the Florida Department of Revenue's General Tax Administration Program performs complex audits of corporate income tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions and industries. The role involves examining accounting systems, computing tax assessments, preparing audit reports, and conducting taxpayer conferences. The incumbent also assists in training other tax auditors.
Key qualifications:- Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue
- 18 months of experience performing corporate income tax audits in General Tax Administration Program's Audit Process
- Preference for one year of experience as a Tax Auditor III in General Tax Administration Program's Audit Process
- Must use personal vehicle for work assignments and may require travel with overnight stays
