Manager of Revenue

Ready to take ownership of complex contract revenue accounting within a dynamic sports and entertainment organization? This role combines technical accounting, monthly close leadership, cross-functional partnership, and process improvement in a highly visible environment.

This Manager of Contract Revenue will lead accounting for assigned contract-based revenue streams and translate complex agreements into clear conclusions under ASC 606. The role offers exposure to senior leadership, external auditors, and business partners across Legal, Tax, Sales, and Finance.

• Own complex contract revenue accounting and ASC 606 analysis
• Work cross-functionally with Legal, Tax, Sales, Finance, and operational teams
• Lead revenue close activities, technical documentation, and audit support
• Improve revenue processes, systems, controls, and reporting accuracy
• Gain exposure to Workday Financials and connected revenue systems

• Review contracts and determine the appropriate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606
• Prepare technical accounting memos documenting significant accounting conclusions
• Lead monthly revenue close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Support external audits and maintain revenue accounting policies and internal controls
• Improve revenue processes and oversee data integrity between Workday and connected systems
• Provide financial analysis for strategic projects and cross-functional business requests

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Contract revenue experience with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606
• Public accounting experience and CPA certification or eligibility preferred
• Advanced Excel skills;
  Workday Financials experience preferred
• Previous staff management experience preferred
