Manager of Technical Accounting

Compensation: $140,000–$160,000 plus bonus

Location: Orlando, FL | Hybrid

Take a lead role in evaluating acquisitions, structuring complex accounting transactions, and guiding finance leadership through an active M&A strategy.

This newly created position offers significant exposure to the full transaction lifecycle within a growing, private equity-backed organization. You’ll serve as a strategic accounting partner on acquisitions, combining transaction advisory, due diligence, purchase accounting, and post-close integration.

• Serve as a key accounting advisor throughout the M&A lifecycle
• Lead financial due diligence and evaluate the accounting implications of potential acquisitions
• Partner directly with senior leadership, deal teams, valuation specialists, and external advisors
• Build scalable transaction accounting processes for a growing acquisition platform
• Gain significant visibility across strategic transactions and integration initiatives

• Lead accounting due diligence and identify financial reporting risks associated with potential acquisitions
• Advise leadership on deal structures and the accounting implications of complex transactions
• Own ASC 805 purchase accounting, including purchase price allocations, goodwill, and intangible assets
• Coordinate with valuation specialists, external auditors, legal counsel, and transaction advisors
• Support post-acquisition integration, opening balance sheets, and alignment of accounting policies
• Research complex U.S. GAAP matters and prepare transaction-related technical accounting memoranda

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and active CPA license required
• Strong M&A accounting, transaction advisory, or financial due diligence experience
• Expertise in ASC 805, purchase accounting, and complex U.S. GAAP research
• Background in public accounting, transaction advisory, or corporate technical accounting
