Accounting Assistant

Build valuable experience across accounting, operations, and risk management in a role that supports multiple locations and keeps essential financial processes moving.

This position offers more variety than a traditional administrative role, with hands‑on exposure to accounting transactions, chargebacks, daily audits, insurance claims, and operational reporting.

• Gain practical experience across accounting and business operations
• Support multiple locations within a fast‑paced organization
• Build exposure to journal entries, reconciliations, and financial documentation
• Work closely with accounting, operations, insurance carriers, and external partners

• Process bank deposits and maintain gift card activity and related journal entries
• Review daily closing documentation and assist with daily cash-report audits
• Track chargebacks and submit supporting documentation to credit card providers
• Report and monitor general liability and workers’ compensation claims
• Maintain insurance records, safety inspection logs, and certificates of insurance

• 1+ years of accounting support, bookkeeping, or administrative experience
• Experience maintaining spreadsheets, financial records, and supporting documentation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general office systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
