Cost Accountant

The Role As a Job Cost Accountant at TSS Civil, LLC, you will be responsible for tracking and analyzing project costs, ensuring that financial data is accurate and up-to-date. You will collaborate closely with project managers to provide insights that help in decision-making and enhance project profitability.

Track and analyze project costs to ensure accuracy and compliance with budgets.

• Prepare job cost reports and financial statements for project managers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather data and provide financial insights.
• Monitor and report on variances between budgeted and actual costs.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure timely and accurate billing and invoicing for projects.
• Maintain financial records and documentation for audit purposes.

• Proven experience in job cost accounting or a similar financial role.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.

• Experience in the construction or civil engineering industry.
• Knowledge of job cost accounting principles.
• Familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulations.
• Quickbooks Online experience
