DescriptionGreenway Ford Orlando has immediate openings for Body Techs! The Auto Body Technician helps repair vehicles as assigned by management following all established standards and procedures. He/she delivers the highest quality body shop repairs while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. The Technician must produce quality results and meet deadlines.
The ideal candidate has some post-secondary automotive training and at least two years of dealer-level or large facility body shop experience. Candidates must have an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record. We are looking for a strong technical and customer service performance record. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and good computer skills are required. A certification or designation in the field of automotive repair is a plus.

- De‑trims and disassembles vehicles, putting parts on parts carts. Performs pre‑pulls to make repair vs. replace decisions
- Approaches repair planning with a sense of urgency and detail to avoid waste and rework later in the process
- Assists in identifying and sourcing parts as necessary while using good judgment in determining when damaged parts can be safely repaired for cost and cycle‑time savings
- Performs quality repairs and meets or exceeds our requirements for productivity as measured by hours per day for each repair order
- Consistently utilizes all required safety equipment and follows proper repair procedures
- Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- Able to drive both automatic and standard‑transmission vehicles
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization skills, able to multi‑task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Prompt, reliable, and responsible
- Quality conscious and detail‑oriented
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
- Two years of relevant experience, preferred
