The Master Technician performs vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards, building customer loyalty by ensuring confidence in Auto Nation as a vehicle safety and care provider.

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, following dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs when authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi‑point inspections and make recommendations to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
• Document work performed on each vehicle in the repair order.
• Maintain inventory of special tools not normally inventoried by the Service department.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory‑sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years experience as an automotive technician
• Automotive technical training (varies based on store needs)
• Attention to detail
• Organization and follow‑up skills
• Valid in‑state driver’s license and a safe driving record
