The Insights Manager will support critical insights deliverables and projects that influence business decision‑making and the company’s overall strategy. This role contributes to shaping the organization’s direction by delivering actionable intelligence on market trends, competitive dynamics, and consumer behavior. Acting as a support to Insights leadership and as a partner to other divisions, the role assists in integrating insights across multiple domains to manage global initiatives, focusing on North America and Global Brand initiatives while supporting other regions as required.

Position supports high‑impact global brand initiatives, positioning the Insights Manager as a key contributor to business growth. The ideal candidate will assist in cross‑functional projects that drive innovation, improve decision‑making, and align with long‑term business objectives.

Remote status: This position is primarily remote; occasional in‑office presence may be required.

• Trading Support:
  Serve as support for the Insights needs for Merlin on ongoing trading reporting for North America and other regions as required.
• Wider Trading Intelligence:
  Provide support for strategic data implementation/tracking and advisory to Insights; lead on competitive intelligence and support market trends and performance data insights.

• Project Planning & Execution:
  Assist in developing and managing project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables for global insights projects.
• Data Support:
  Support collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to generate actionable business insights and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Reporting:
  Prepare and present reports and presentations to management and stakeholders, highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations.

• Stakeholder Communication:
  Maintain clear and effective communication with relevant project stakeholders, providing regular updates.
• Resource Management:
  Support Regional Insight Leads and the Global Insights Director in updating a centralized insights resource/website and assist stakeholders with information dissemination.

• Data Proficiency:
  Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, synthesizing complex information into actionable insights.
• Knowledge Management:
  Act as a central hub for insight knowledge management, maintaining ongoing streams of primary and secondary intelligence.

• Write and launch consumer survey:
  Proficiency in survey writing, launching surveys internally and with agency partners.
• Survey data analysis:
  Synthesize complex information into actionable insights from raw survey results.
• Survey de‑brief:
  Lead survey de‑brief by writing high‑impact read‑outs and leading stakeholder communications.

• Some experience in insights, research, or an analytical role, ideally within a business setting, with exposure to consumer, leisure, entertainment, or retail industries a plus.
• Ability to synthesize market and competitor data from various sources into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with insights reporting and data visualization, and ability to assist in creating presentations.
• Experience supporting projects involving multiple teams, focusing on business outcomes.
• Proficiency in data analysis, especially using Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, or a related field preferred.
