What Youll Do:
As the Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst, Journeyman level, you will support Navy acquisition programs through program planning, documentation, coordination, and analysis. This position works closely with government and contractor teams to support acquisition requirements, ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures, and help keep program activities aligned with contract and mission requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and maintenance of program acquisition documentation, including Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR), Procurement Initiation Documents (PID), Statements of Work (SOW), funding documents, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA).
- Review program procedures, practices, and documentation to assess compliance with applicable specifications, contracts, policies, and mission requirements.
- Support contract and procurement activities, including new contract actions, contract modifications, and product procurement.
- Assist with program planning, budgeting, and execution to ensure life-cycle support requirements are addressed.
- Coordinate and integrate activities across multiple projects and functional areas.
- Prepare and support briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, and other program documentation.
- Participate in program meetings, conferences, reviews, and boards and provide analysis, recommendations, and follow-up as needed.
- Coordinate with government, contractor, and cross-functional teams to resolve program issues and support effective decision-making.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels, both orally and in writing.
- Perform other program acquisition and management duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) is required.
- Approximately 3 or more years of experience supporting Department of Defense acquisition programs, policies, and procedures, or equivalent experience, required.
- Experience with project or program management, including policy implementation, coordination of complex Navy processes, and development or management of project budgets.
- Working knowledge of government contracting and procurement procedures, including new contract actions, contract modifications, and product procurement.
- Warfighting Acquisition University (WarU) Level II/Practitioner certification or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Experience supporting U.S. Navy acquisition programs.
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Experience working with government contracts and acquisition life-cycle requirements.
- Experience developing or supporting acquisition strategies, program documentation, budgets, and briefings.

Security Clearance Requirement:
