Job DescriptionThe Construction Manager Trainee assists in the supervision, coordination, and management of all assigned residential construction projects.

- Assist in preparing and maintaining job schedules.
- Inspect and enforce job safety requirements.
- Complete ‘punch lists’ and assist in completion of new home orientation lists.
- Attend construction meetings and training classes as scheduled.
- Ensure job site cleanliness and assist in completion of model/inventory maintenance.
- Assist in areas of service‑related issues.
- Daily interaction with various division personnel, subcontractors, business partners, and homeowners.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- College Degree or equivalent education preferred.
- Construction Experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
- Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office products (Word and Excel).
- Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
- Valid Auto Insurance Coverage.
Regular, in‑person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. Requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of an office and/or the field environment. Also requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry items that are less than 50 pounds.
Finger dexterity is required in operating a computer keyboard and a calculator. Office work requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods of time, completing paperwork, and meeting with vendors and contractors to receive/return phone messages. Standing is required for filing and copying. Limited travel may be required.
