ASPHALT PLANT INSPECTOR TRAINEE
Are you seeking a fulfilling career in the construction industry? Do you enjoy working independently? Does using spreadsheets to submit test data on‑line interest you? Ardaman is seeking an entry‑level candidate interested in becoming an Asphalt Plant Technician. We offer comprehensive training and support to obtain the required FDOT CTQP certifications for a successful career in testing and inspections in the highway construction industry.
No previous asphalt experience is necessary. Work is typically at night in an air‑conditioned environment at various asphalt plants in the Central Florida area. A company vehicle is provided.
- Perform quality assurance testing and inspections at asphalt plants during asphalt production.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Interest in the construction industry.
- Willingness to learn and obtain necessary certifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to move up and down stairs and platforms.
- Ability to lift and transport samples less than 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to work days and/or nights (mostly nights), based on project needs.
- Must have an excellent driving record within company standards.
- Must pass company background checks including drug screen.
