Working Project Superintendent for the greater Orlando area

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to grow with us and become a leader in their field. As a project superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing projects, overseeing subcontractors and vendors, material procurement, working with inspectors and municipalities, problem‑solving and customer management. If you are detail oriented, like to solve the occasional puzzle, and love to put out a quality product, we have a great opportunity for you.

• Oversee multiple construction projects daily
• Schedule, manage and oversee subcontractors and suppliers
• Work with customers and design professionals
• Work with building officials and municipalities
• Identify potential problems with plans and specifications and find a resolution
• Procure materials for jobs from various suppliers
• Resolve specification, selection and plan conflicts and design professionals
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with all potential and existing customers
• Keep job sites safe and clean at all times
• Perform all other duties assigned

• Strategic Orientation – Sees the big picture. Understands the goals, priorities, and strategies of the job and how they relate to our customer and can prioritize work accordingly.
• Process Procedures – Ensures accurate processes and procedures for self and others to use and seeks ways to improve existing processes, adjusting or recommending improvements.
• Problem Solving and Decision Making – While making good decisions, uses a mix of analysis, wisdom, experience, and discernment. Assesses needs and anticipates problems and prioritizes to meet deadlines.

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction
• Proficient with Microsoft Platform (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with square foot and square yard dimensions Knowledge of Geometry/Math
• Data entry experience
• Experience reading construction blueprints
• Budget Management experience
• Bidding and plan take‑off experience
• General Knowledge of residential and commercial construction
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines
• Cooperative attitude

Job Type: Full‑time

Hours:

7:00 – 4:00 Monday‑Friday

Please note:

This is a working superintendent role and traveling within our coverage area is required. The current Coverage Area includes Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, Manatee, Sarasota, Polk, Hernando, Marion, Lee, Orange, Osceola. (Coverage area subject to change at any time)
